Develop a non-institutional design environment for the facility. This design should be based on research designing for those with dementia. This is a multi-use facility, combining residential and commercial spaces. Balance each of these design qualities so the spaces can function as needed. Integrate visual and acoustic separation between these spaces, while still allowing for connection to the outside community. The design must have an enclosed garden area. Incorporate visual connections to the outdoors throughout the design.
